About Us

"We are an association of automotive enthusiasts who support local charities"

The Palm Springs Cruisin’ Association (PSCA) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote camaraderie among car enthusiasts and to stage and promote charitable car events. Our main annual fund-raising event, The Dr. George Charity Car Show, benefits the Desert Cancer Foundation. It is held the second Saturday in February on the lawns at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens all proceeds benefit The Desert Cancer Foundation. To-date PSCA has donated over $1,300,000 to the Desert Cancer Foundation. Learn More.

PSCA started out as a small gathering of car enthusiasts that met at the Shakey’s Pizza Parlor parking lot in Palm Springs over 30 years ago.  People would get together to admire each other’s cars and swap information. It was started by two local car lovers, Loren Orcutt and Bob Hunt. Their first gathering consisted of approximately 30 cars. As the participation grew, the club moved to various locations in the Valley to accommodate its size. What originally started as a small group of car enthusiasts has now grown to become a Non-Profit Corporation that is the largest single donor to The Desert Cancer Foundation.
